Background of the tea

Liu Bao has been crafted in Guangxi Province for over a thousand years and is considered the origin of post-fermented teas like Pu’er. Once valued as a restorative drink for travelers and workers, it’s now cherished for its rich, mellow body and natural grounding effect.

Our 2025 batch comes directly from a family workshop known for producing clean, well-balanced dark teas - smooth, never musty - the mark of careful aging and honest craft.
